Mediafon UAB is one of the biggest alternative carriers and providers of  fixed telephony services in Lithuania, delivering telecommunication services to Lithuanian and foreign corporate clients, carriers and state institutions.

Our company was one of the first in Lithuania to provide technical servicing of premium rate short messages in 2001. We provide wholesale voice solutions to national and international carriers from 2003 and today we are the second carrier in Lithuanian telecommunication market by revenues and by traffic volumes.

With the launch of its specialized number portability services package in 2010, Mediafon became the first company in Lithuania and the only one in the Baltic region which had successfully implemented a project of this kind abroad.

History of Mediafon

  • Mediafon was established in 1998 using private capital. The company started its activities with the provision of technical servicing of premium rate telephone call services.
  • Mediafon started providing wholesale voice solutions at the end of 2003.
  • The concern MG Baltic purchased a controlling interest in the company on 3 September 2007.
  • The company started providing specialized number portability services at the beginning of 2010.
Our aim has been to satisfy our clients and partners expectations, while taking care of the quality of our services, and therefore devoting a lot of attention to developing the competence and improving the qualification of the employees of Mediafon since the very beginning of the activities of the company.
